we are here to help you.

Our meetings are free and open to the public, so stop by for a visit! We always have an interesting presentation. Meetings are usually the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 9:30am - 11:30am. There are no meetings in July and August. There is no meeting in March due to adjudications. In June and December we have luncheons to celebrate and acknowledge our members and programs instead of regular meetings and presentations. President’s Message - April 2016

Each year I have an appointment for a Vision Check with my Eye Doctor. It's important to know if there have been any changes in my sight, the Dr. is watching a particular area in my eye for changes; and I want to know if I need a new prescription, or as is usually the case, a slightly stronger lens for my reading.

The same goes with any organization. From time to time, it's good to conduct a "vision check".

That is what we are currently doing in OMTA. We are checking our vision as an organization.  What do we stand for? What do we offer our members? What do our members offer to OMTA?

Do we need a stronger lens in order to meet needs? Do our members need a different focus in order to be a bigger part of the organization? Come be part of our Vision Check!  Attend monthly meetings, make it a priority! You will be richly rewarded by participating in and supporting your Professional Association. OMTA is here for you! If you are a musician looking for a great Organization to be a part of, check us out at our monthly meetings, second Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m.

President,
Jan Rowen Music, NCTM
Olympia Chapter, Washington State Music Teacher’s Association.
